Secured in the knick of time
What has been even more gratifying is that the shutters have already done a great job of keeping the homeowners safe. A week after this Trellidor installation the estate experienced two scary incidents. In the first, the estate’s electric fence along the vlei opposite our customers house, was breached and the electric fence solar panels were stolen.
Shortly after that, three men (presumed to be builders working in a home on the estate) found a place to hide on the property until after dark.
They then climbed into the home they’d been working on through a fanlight, tied up the homeowner and looted the house.
They left in a getaway vehicle parked on the other side of the fence, loaded with valuables. The fence alarm was only triggered once during the incident, which apparently was no deterrent to these brazen thieves.
