Annual Awards
From the earliest days of the development of Trellidor as a thriving business over 40 years ago, the focus has been on providing a high level of service and satisfaction to our customers. Because happy customers lead to a healthy business. Trellidor franchises the world over still follow these principles.
Our franchises in South Africa and other countries around the world are not in competition with each other because they are all independent, owner-managed businesses with clearly defined trading areas.
Nevertheless, our annual awards results are eagerly awaited each financial year end. Knowing you have risen to the top amongst so many professional Trellidor teams is a real morale-booster, particularly during tough trading conditions.
For the purposes of the Trellidor awards, the Trellidor Franchise network is divided up into categories depending on the size of each franchise. Franchises of similar size compete for the top awards.
Taylor Blinds, part of the Trellidor Group, awards a ‘Champion of the Year’ based on sales of their product range by Trellidor franchises that supply their products.

This team has become a force to be reckoned with in a very short space of time, drawing on Wynand’s years of experience with Trellidor products.

Trellidor Somerset West have achieved “Overall Champion of the Year’ in sales for Taylor Blinds. Franchise owners Hans Strydom, Francois Van Rensburg and Deon Strydom and their team have been consistent winners of Trellidor awards over the years, particularly in the Sales Consultant and Rollerstyle product awards. Christo Bester was Sales Consultant of the Year in 2012/2013, 2014/2015 and winner of the Category A Sales Consultant competition in 2017/2018.

Michael’s parents opened the franchise in 1988 and Michael purchased it from them in 2000. Since then the franchise has won a number of category awards as well as a Special Achievement Award. Michael is full of praise for his ‘committed, hard-working’ staff.

Ed Andrew of Trellidor Sandton has held positions at Trellidor head office and RSA franchises since he joined the company in 1995. He has won numerous sales awards and has trained other award winning consultants. He invested in the Trellidor Fourways franchise and is also a freelance Sales Consultant for Trellidor Sandton. Ed is enthusiastic and energetic with a ‘back to basics’ selling style that customers really appreciate.
