New product launch
First on the list of things to see at the Trellidor stand at Homemakers Expo is the latest addition to our security barrier range, Trellidor Poly Guard. This is good-looking burglar proofing made up of transparent Polycarbonate bars that stretch across your window.
The bars can be spaced so that monkeys can’t get through, but this isn’t just a primate deterrent. Trellidor Poly Guard has been designed with strengthening features that make it strong enough to help keep intruders out too. These are an aluminium frame and a tamper-resistant fixing system unique to Trellidor.

New innovations to familiar designs
The second interesting development is the modification of existing products. We are constantly looking at new technology and ways to help you stay ahead of evermore sophisticated criminals. The result of this research and development is that at Homemakers Expo Jo’burg 2015 we will be introducing:
- A brand new lock with enhanced security features to the Trellidor Retractable Security range of sliding gates for doors and windows.
- Trellidor branded motors manufactured to our specifications for the Trellidor Rollerstyle range of roller shutters. These have been designed to suit South African conditions such as the constant threat of power outages. They have a number of interesting new features and accessories.
