Superbly trained sniffer dogs do a great job
The Trellidor franchises in the area are sponsoring the food, medical expenses and upkeep of Robynne’s newly received work partner. The beautiful, superbly trained Calimero is a Belgian Malinois.
Calimero works with Robynne at the gates into the Kruger Park area, searching cars for rhino horn and elephant tusks. He was trained overseas and brought out to South Africa by his trainer at the end of April.
The highly intelligent Belgian Malinois breed of dog is more comfortable working than being around crowds of people. Calimero was, however, introduced to the public at a hand-over function at Kruger National Park recently and behaved beautifully.
Animals have the right to safety too

So we were pleased to have the opportunity to sponsor the of the Nature Conservation Dog Unit cottage. The unit ensures the safety of animals in the Greater Kruger Reserve, said Franchise Owners Kobus Eckard and Raymond Bezuidenhout.
