Trellidor received not just one, but three awards at the 2014 Homemakers Expo Gauteng! Thank you to all that made the show such a success, including our customers.
Trellidor honoured with three awards at Homemakers Expo Gauteng 2014
After having just won The Star’s Readers Choice Award for Best Security Doors against a whole host of competitors in the Gauteng region, it was very gratifying to win an additional three awards at this year’s Homemakers Expo In Johannesburg.
“Months of planning and preparation went into making the Trellidor stand at this year’s Homemakers Expo Gauteng a success,” said Trellidor Head Office Franchise Manager Kevin Bonner who managed the project.
“Being honoured with three awards was a satisfying end to this outstanding exhibition.”
Local Gauteng Trellidor franchise owners and their staff see the exhibition as a great opportunity to interact with their client base.
“We always have our full range of products on show so those of us working on the stand are able to show visitors exactly how each security barrier works. Customers are also able to try out the barriers and see and feel the differences for themselves.”
A Gold Award for our stand display
The awards won by Trellidor at this year’s show were:
- A Longest Attendance award because we’ve been exhibiting at Homemakers Expo Gauteng for an incredible 20 years
- A beautiful wall clock as a special prize for the quickest setup on show
In presenting us with this last award, the show organisers noted that Trellidor is always first to arrive on set-up day and first to complete the stand, ready for visitors. The stand in question is our new, award-winning one that is very user-friendly and spacious enough for a crowd to move around.
Show post-mortem
As always, the Homemakers Expo Gauteng was worth the nine-hour shifts over four days. Show attendance was excellent this year and we saw record numbers of people. Our local franchises have 20% more people to see after the show than last year’s event.
Many visitors commented on how well-organised the show was this year and how much easier the venue was to navigate, including better signage.
The effort made by all exhibitors was outstanding, making this a great show to attend if you’re in the market for home-related products.
