Cape Town residents and Trellidor Bellville technical team Ricardo Gasment and Seagyn Moses did Trellidor proud when they stopped to assist a stranded motorist who needed help changing a tyre. They were on their way to a Trellidor installation but couldn’t pass by the woman, who was on her own at the side of the road.
They lived out the Trellidor belief statement, which says in part that we believe that all peace-loving citizens should be able to feel safe. Our focus is on safety in homes and offices, but they took this a step further, said Trellidor Bellville franchise owner Jack Grobbelaar.
The motorist wrote to Jack, saying: I want to commend Ricardo and Moses. On Monday afternoon I had a blow out on De Waal Drive. Ricardo stopped and they both cheerfully and very efficiently changed my tyre. Thank them both so much for the help. They are an asset to the company.
I also thanked Ricardo and Moses for their kind deed as it can be a frightening situation for anybody if you are stuck on the side of the road with a breakdown and are on your own, said Jack.
The Trellidor belief statement continues: We believe there should be no compromise when it comes to security. Ricardo and Seagyn certainly embodied this ethos.
