Shaun Erasmus wins Trellidor MD’s Award
Every year Trellidor CEO Terry Dennison awards one RSA franchise with the MD’s Award. It goes to the franchise that has best put into practise all the operating features of a Trellidor franchise.
There are always several contenders for this award. It is difficult to single out one franchise because they all endeavour to live the Trellidor ethos. This year the award went to Shaun Erasmus of Trellidor Dolphin Coast and was really well deserved.
Wealth of experience
Shaun purchased this franchise in 2016 from Laird Anderson, who still owns Trellidor North Durban. In the year that Shaun has been in business he has really made his mark in the region, getting involved in the community and securing homes up and down this coastal area.
Shaun had 11 years worth of experience within the Trellidor organisation before he bought this franchise area and brought his expertise with him to the benefit of local residents.
He was a highly respected installations technician for Trellidor Durban West, giving him great insight into the practical side of door and window security.
He then moved to head office as Trellidor Design and Development Manager, where he was an integral part of the team that developed our recently launched Trellidor Louvre Shutters. This new design is ideal for Dolphin Coast homes because it has a clean, fresh look, is corrosion resistant and can replace curtains, blinds and burglar proofing in one beautiful aluminium louvre-style product.
The team Shaun has around him often receives compliments from customers for their customer-focussed approach.

Trellidor has just launched another product that is highly suitable for Dolphin Coast homes. It is the Trellidor TA600 Aluminium sliding security gate which is corrosion resistant and can be custom-made for either doors or windows.
In addition to Trellidor security barriers, Shaun’s franchise is also an official distributor of Taylor Blinds and Shutters as well as NMC decorative mouldings.
